Chief

I bolted on my leash at the park, making my mommy fall down and dislocate her thumb. Now she has to have surgery! —-Chief

  1. A word about Chief…..he spent the first 18 months of his life in a shelter until I adopted him in 2003. The staff at the shelter looked at me hard and asked, "Do you REALLY want to adopt this dog?" In spite of everything (including the fact that he didn't know how to walk up a stairway or how to swim or how to walk on a leash or basically how to do anything but bark at cats and bulldoze himself into any situation he wanted to control and ALWAYS has to be first in anything) he has been such a wonderful blessing in my life. And, he has proven himself in 3 ways: 1) he is irresistible to women. 2) he is a master of escape. 3) he is the most loyal, protective pet I've ever owned. Hail to the Chief!
