Chloe, the Christmas Thief

I´m Chloe, a 1-year-old rescue doggie from Caracas, Venezuela.
I ate my Mom´s “hallaca” while she was getting a drink – she thought I was outside playing with my other rescue sisters :/

An “Hallaca” is a traditional Venezuelan holiday dish made out of flour, stuffing (ours are vegetarian) and wrapped in plantain leaves. Families gather to make them together (it´s best to make a lot and put them in the fridge since it takes time) and they´re usually eaten any time during this season. I can´t blame Chloe, it was delicious and it´s a once-a-year deal, so she got to eat hers in time.

Regards from Venezuela. Feliz Navidad!
